Manual Cleaning

1. Water flows into influent port and goes across baskets where debris is trapped and removed.
2. Water enters pump volute and is sent to filter, back to source or desired discharge point such as irrigation or storage tank.
3. When baskets are full pump vacuum increases on the effluent vacuum gauge to limit that determines ProStrainer needs to be cleaned.
4. Pump is turned off.
5. The isolation valves on each side of the ProStrainer are closed, the lid is opened and the baskets are removed and wash clean with a hose.
6. Baskets are replaced after cleaning, lid is secured, and isolation valves are opened to former operating position.
7. Pump is turned back on.
