What's New?
ProStrainer ™ DC Priming Assist & Retro Series
Priming Assist
ProFlo Inc. proudly introduces ProStrainer “Priming Assist Series” A great new product that can help improve pump priming performance.

- Allows more water to be retained in the ProStrainer after the baskets cleaned.
- This water trapping arrangement provides more positive initial net positive suction head available to the eye of the impeller.
- Due to the horizontal design and improved volumetric characteristics the initial restart “slug” of water helps force air in the discharge piping out of the system.
- Simultaneously, the slug of water provides greater pull to the influent water supply helping to improve the fluid movement inertia.
- Stainless Steel assures long life and eliminates cracking and body fatigue that occurs with plastic and fiberglass.
- Smallest industry footprint means it will fit in any retrofit application.
- More open area allows for far less maintenance and service for the end user.
- Much longer duty cycle with far less pressure drop saves energy and reduces pump operating cost.
Retro Series
ProFlo Inc. proudly introduces ProStrainer “Retro Series”, a great new product that help contractors replace existing strainers with our horizontal laminar flow technology. Eliminate all that extra piping and parts by taking your field measurement of face to face piping and we will build the strainer to fit that space.
Contractors show your customers you care about them by replacing existing strainers with ProStrainer giving them the following advantages:
- Stainless Steel assures long life and eliminates cracking and body fatigue that occurs with plastic and fiberglass.
- Smallest industry footprint means it will fit in any retrofit application.
- Lowest profile means you can improve the existing NPSHA (net positive suction head available) pump performance.
- More open area allows for far less maintenance and service for the end user.
- Much longer duty cycle with far less pressure drop saves energy and reduces pump operating cost.
